A standard expanded-polystyrene construction helmet infused with styling and functionality, the Nikio Helmet is aimed at the enthusiast and  racing cycling markets. A front intake and swept back vents allow for passive cooling and an elegant form. The rear block contains embedded LED lights, a rechargeable battery unit, and an accelerometer to detect deceleration. Together, these components act similar to a car’s brake lights.
