This work was never intended  to be representational,  but at some point my imagination started to see a toucan emerging from it.   Inevitably the design was guided by this discovery and inspired the title  'a touch of toucan'.   It was a reminder to me of how the eye looks to make sense of even the most abstract of artworks.
