Gold's Gym was founded in 1965 in Venice Beach, California, by Joe Gold, who aimed to create a space where serious bodybuilders could train. The gym quickly gained popularity, attracting bodybuilding legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, and Lou Ferrigno. It became known as the "Mecca of Bodybuilding" and a hub for fitness enthusiasts.
I have developed the exterior design concept for Gold's Gym's mobile gym bus. The purpose of the bus is to circulate throughout the Vancouver area, capturing the attention of potential new members and promoting fitness. The bus is wrapped in vibrant colors, predominantly the brand's signature yellow, creating a visually striking presence. It functions as an out-of-home advertising and transit billboard, featuring bold typography, impactful fitness images, compelling calls to action, and clear contact details. The combination of these designs on both sides of the bus forms a captivating campaign that inspires viewers to consider Gold's Gym for their future fitness endeavors.
