EDUCATIONAL SCREENCASTS FOR THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL «OZON FOR PARTNERS»
Videos that help you start selling on Ozon and unload the support team.
INITIAL SITUATION

To solve the problem, Ozon team contacted us to create animated explainers. These videos tell how to solve a particular problem on the platform. We began our partnership by completing a creative task — in two weeks we have made a short video about digital marking.

Development of the video was autonomous, without any control from the client's side. The style was approved immediately and the final video became the basis for longterm collaboration. 
OUR APPROACH

We have developed principles that allow us to create a high quality product quickly and regularly.
A deep dive into the product

Some people on our team took courses, received Ozonologist certification and got an e-com expert status. Understanding the processes allows us to quickly figure out a new feature and demonstrate it as accurately as possible.
Constant contact and in-depth interviews with the company's product specialists

This helps to understand the details and avoid mistakes. Also colleagues from Ozon meet us halfway and agree on materials in 1-2 days.
Creative solution

We have created an entire library of ready-made icons, metaphors and symbols from which we assemble our videos. Uniformity reduces the preparation time of illustrations and helps viewers understand the video better.
PROCESS

The production of each explainer of an average length of 3 to 4 minutes takes two weeks from receipt of the requirement specification.

The video is created in six steps:
Each step gets approved by the client. This helps to focus on the important aspects of the step, meet the client's expectations and reduce the number of edits.
WORKING WITH INTERFACES

To visualise new features of the platform, we use two approaches.
The first one is to recreate the interface in detail based on the Figma sources.

The second one is to integrate screen capture in the video. We resort to this method only if we have no access to the interfaces or the deadline is too short.
SPECIAL PROJECTS

In addition to the usual explainers, we have created several special projects — 
videos with a special mission.
Intro and Outro for online webinars

In this project, our task was to develop intros and outros for online webinars. 
The result was a dynamic splash screen in the brand style.
Promo of new Ozon Profit service

In the fall of 2022, Ozon created a new service — Ozon Profit. To advertise it, the company asked us to make a promo video. Based on the brand style, we developed short video about new service and how to work with it.
Instructions for packing bulky goods

The video gradually shows the packaging of various types of goods: from furniture to bulk cargoes. In each case, the features of the cargo are emphasized, as well as common mistakes are shown in order to further avoid them and reduce the number of returns.
PROJECT RESULTS

Explainers help both sellers and Ozon. According to the client’s data, the number of calls to the helpdesk had been reduced by 3 times since the launch of our videos. The company can reallocate resources to higher-priority tasks, and sellers can study the videos as much as they need, at a convenient time.
