THE ART FESTIVAL VOR/WIOSNA - Egillstadir, Iceland.
The art festival Vor / Wiosna has been an annual event in Sláturhúsið since 2020. The main purpose of the festival is to exhibit work by Polish artists who live in Iceland. Wiola Ujazdowska is the curator of the festival.
Within this year's edition there was also a place for music; a concert with the Polish band Polski Piach as well as an performance by our artist in residency Krzysztof “Arszyn” Topolski. Both events are a part of ACT_IN_OUT a two years art project dedicated to music and theatre that Slaturhusid is a part of along with Fabryka Sztuki Łódź, Carte Blache and Theater de Visjoner from Norway.
