To create a brand that feels contemporary. empowers the spirit of Arabian modesty and is relevant, stands out in the fashion market, and provokes curiosity and desire in the Arabic target audience. 
To use the brand’s visual language to reflect the soul of the Arab culture and showcase its originality, diversity, and richness. Using The name and its origins, the typography, and the brand imagery. But still leaving a space for the hero which is the brand’s clothing designs.


With full control over the naming process, I developed a criteria to guide the naming process. 

Name should: 
-Work in Arabic and English. 
-Be easy on the ear with no arabic harsh letters. 
-Have a meaning that is related to our culture. 
-Be engaging in a positive manner & emotionally fulfilled. 
The name Jawa was chosen. 

Jawa: The Name means The intense feeling of deep loving and the sorrow that it causes.            The Verb means Patch: to mend, cover, or strengthen clothes.
