Dr Gregory House, famous character of the beloved tv show, Dr House.

Sculpting and Look Develepoment work I made on the actor Hugh Laurie portrait bust, as Dr House, sculpted for a private comission. It was a great opportunity to level up skills on likeness sculpting and material composition in Blender for render.

I used zbrush for modelling as I partned the work with Blender for UVs unfold and some other minor tasks. All the scene for rendering was made with production ready asset I download from Sketchfab, PolyHaven as well as with textures for grunge details, imperfections and dust.

My go-to for the render was to depict the statue being used as the product is designed to, by ornamating the surrounds with an art piece which can resonate the personality of the owner. And, since the framed character is a doctor, I decided to built a doctor office-like shelt to also hold all the symbolics elements the fan of the tv show, Dr House, can relate to the character.
