Moon on Earth
From heaven to earth, in broad daylight. It is already unusual for us to conceive the presence of the moon as a diurnal celestial body, as well as a nocturnal one. Yet, it is always in the sky, exactly like the sun. It, like the sun, is visible for a certain number of hours, but you rarely notice it. The miracle occurs when chance leads you along a puddle and, like an unexpected gift of fate, you find it at your feet, reflected in the mirror of water and the puddle becomes a galaxy. High and pale above the clouds; delicate image in the midst of the greyness of the stones that become planets or islands. And, suddenly, everything appears lighter and more delicate to you, in the afternoon hour of this singular snowless winter. The moon has come close.
