In this film, Mendl's Bakery plays a crucial role, so I set out to make the recipe for their iconic cake. Inspired by Wes Anderson's distinctive aesthetic, I opted for a collage and scrapbooking style to capture this plastic atmosphere. I brought visual consistency by adjusting the colorimetry of the images, tinting them with shades of blue, which ensures continuity with the actual shots I took. To reinforce the stop motion effect, I deliberately created jerky movements. The background is composed of various types of paper, to which I added the images, creating a striking visual collage.
