This is an immersive experience animation I created for an exhibition in Bejing, for chinamuseum.international.
I used blender geometry nodes to build a system that would procedurally scatter paint strokes onto a mesh surface. The scenes where then built by hand, based on the original paintings by Van Gogh.
Although the work is heavily based on the masterpieces of a great artist, I always like to create something that is also based on my ability and creativity, rather than solely rely onto the work of the artist.
