Break The Rules
In the world of graphic design, there are many rules to follow. In this project, I sought out to break those rules to show people and designers that they do not have to follow the rules always. I decided to create a zine dedicated for this project.
I was inspired by punk rock for this project as punk rock was always about breaking the rules and creating things in your own way. Furthermore, there was a huge zine culture in the punk rock community as well using collages.

Following how designers create punk rock zines, I decided as well to create my zine using mainly cut out pictures taken from magazines and scanning them to design them in the zine.

REBEL: break the balance
I decided to also create a stopmotion video dedicated to breaking one of the design rules in the zine which was balance. The purpose of this video is to show designers the possibilities of experimenting and breaking the rules.
