BRIEF:
This project is introducing us to working with wood in the workshop and using heavy machinery like dremmels, band-saws, etc. For this project, we are required to make wooden toy cars, completely out of wood with no extra material for additional accessories, should we have any. The car is to be inspired by any car of your choice, and has to have at least one moving component.
MOODBOARD:
When I thought of toys, my mind immediately jumped to thinking about trucks, hence me going for a pick-up truck so that the owner can be able to put in their toys in the car's body. However, a lot of these toy trucks are fire fighter trucks, sand collectors and so forth, so I went for a vintage truck just so that it can look different from typical trucks. The curve features of the car made me excited to try out replicating them but with wood. It consists of details that I found really astonishing.
