Noma Atmosphere is a concept behind a new gastronomic travel site developed for the worlds' best restaurant Noma located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Noma is known for its reinvention and interpretation of the Nordic Cuisine. In the restaurant they create an environment which is based on the origin of the raw materials. This creates a culinarily atmosphere about Noma's dishes and intensify the guests senses and gives a unique gastronomic experience.
René Redzepi - Head chef at Noma has an ambition of strengthen the atmosphere by moving the restaurant closer to the nature. In co-operation with his staff he has arranged gastronomic travels to bring the guests and the food even closer to the origin of the raw materials. Every year the staff of Noma selects a unique nature reserve in each of the Nordic countries. These destinations are intended to function as a restaurant for a day and the local providers will help guiding the guest through information about the produce of the area. The chefs at Noma are a part of the travel and use the local ingredients to create dishes that reflect the region. Finally the dishes will be served in atmospheric surroundings.
