ABOUT PROJECT
On the eve of the Chinese New Year, which is also traditionally called the Lunar New Year, the company Superblack no.9 decided to congratulate all employees with a short video, which would reflect the traditions of the ages and modern achievements.
STILL FRAMES
The image of a rabbit was taken as the basis, as this is the year 2023, as well as some additional subjects that can be seen in the final video, such as the moon, Chinese patterns, the company logo, the image of a rabbit and various mechanisms.
ANIMATION
The concept of the video is a combination of history and modern technology which is what we see at the end of the clip when the mechanisms transform into a rabbit. So traditional Chinese patterns are mixed with mechanics, and the rendering is interrupted by glitches in the digital style.
NFT
Also, a series of digital posters and NFT invitations to the festival dedicated to the celebration of the new year was developed for the company's employees and clients.
