Securiwiser

Introducing Securiwiser, a cybersecurity service provider that prioritizes simplicity, affordability, and accessibility. Our mission was to showcase how their tools work and how they protect businesses from potential cyber attacks.

Styleframes

After locking the storyboard through a sequence of elaborated sketches, and refining the storytelling with the client, it was time to work on the styleframes.
We wanted to achieve that 90's early internet era retro style, while maintaining the brand palette as intact as possible and give it a fresh and eye-popping look.

Character Development

How can we make it obvious we're talking about a website under cyber attack fire, without going into the standard clichè of a person navigating that website? This is what we asked before working on the creativity for Securiwiser.

The least obvious solution we came up with was to make the website itself the main character and feature a couple of friends behind the computer screen as the unintentional narrators of the story.

In our minds, this little pal should have had a life of his own, while the two friends would discuss of what's happening off screen, while informing the audience. The tiny guy whould have been instantly recognizable while able to express a wide range of emotions and be able to follow the entire storyline without even saying a word.

Animation

For the main sequence, we opted for a one-shot animation that required meticulous frame-by-frame animation. We wanted to make sure that every movement was smooth and seamless, which required a lot of attention to detail and patience.
After the main sequence was completed, we moved on to animating the smaller elements and details, such as the desktop icons and the tiny troublemakers.

The 3D

To create a fully immersive experience, we knew we had to bring the adventure outside of the monitor and into a 3D world. That’s why we meticulously modeled and textured everything from the original illustration, giving life to every tiny element in the scene. From the walls of the room to the furniture and props, everything was crafted with precision and care to make sure that the viewer felt completely transported into the world of Securiwiser.

You know those desktop icons that appear so flat? Well, don’t be fooled, they’re actually super cool and 3D! Even the tiniest details have been taken care of, because we believe that everything counts when it comes to creating amazing projects.

Storyboard

It was a lot of fun to create the script, imagining two friends (one being the website owner) providing commentary on the action happening on-screen, while the little character encountered a series of unfortunate events. Of course, the story ultimately ends on a positive note
