Medium: Sculpture model magic
The sculpture was created using model magic air drying clay, and photographed in my art classroom using an SLR camera. This figure is created to show my emotions relating to home and what I consider to be home. The figure is looking over at the ceramic house that's symbolic of my birth home Calgary to emphasise the fact that home is so far away but also close. My friends are my home. Staying in touch is so easy now and that way I can stay close to them. The name of the piece is Bellamy which means ‘fine friend’.
