My experience in midcore for 2022 was amazing!
I worked as part of great team of motion designers, they proved theirselves knowledgeable and passionate.
We were working together to create an exciting game videos with a unique art style
and compelling story. We used Unreal Engine to develop cinematics
to help us to reach a wider audience.
The games had a lot of installs and were well received by many players.
Generally my Azur Games experience in midcore while 2022 was estimated as very positive.
I was able to learn a lot about the industry, to pick up new skills. I worked with some
incredibly talented people. It was an amazing experience and it will always remain in my heart, gently.
Completely misleading Unreal Engine 4 gameplay. Fake interface animation due to After Effects expressions. Staging of all scenes. All animation except one dinosaur tossing another.
Level art of hell at first 8 seconds, the idea of animation of the plate and lever.
Assembling dinosaur ammunition in Cinema 4D by Voronoi. Fake gameplay from 20 second. Interface animation using expressions in AE.
My first fake gameplay video on UE4. While making it I learned how to set the character's fps movement by spline. Also I added shooting moving enemies and special effects.
I made the whole interface for this video based on the images of the game,
the reference for animation was gameplay.
A promotional video for the game Modern Strike Online with a blogger.
It shows the scrolling of weapon heroes with its upgrade.
That was made on UE4. The second part of the video shows the actual gameplay of the project.
At the beginning of this video there's a funny moment with the dinosaurs.
They take turns growling, the little one is being silly. The dinosaur nearby hits him.
And the little one yells a famous YouTube gopher voice.
Other dinosaurs are being surprised by this.
Animation of the hitting dinosaur is made as an additive animation to the already existing growl animation.
By animating the bones directly in the Unreal Engine.
The appearance of armor for the small dinosaur was made in Cinema 4D.
Then it was imported into UE4. The second half of the video is a recording part of real gameplay.
It's an interesting project. Live gameplay from Unity game engine and UE5 presentation of weapons on smartphone screen are smartly combined. For this purpose HDRI texture of the environment in the place here the character stops was exported from Unity. Imported as HDRI backdrop in UE5.
Then I animated the hand including fingers according to the position of the smartphone
by reference.
I used some video materials for displaying the video made in AE on the
smartphone.
Totally UE5 fake gameplay. The character moves along the spline.
Camera shake and blood and gore were added.
As a result the enemy is being thrown away by a blow of a powerful weapon.
Here we use the interface from the template created in the first video for the game World War Heroes.
At the beginning of the video reloading different weapons in different locations in Unreal Engine. In location of Stalingrad I added some lighting and adjusted the textures of stained glass to make it seem more realistic.
Further shown real gameplay in Unity, weapon pumping in UE4.
A small piece of animation of three heroes on the Unity timeline. The face for one of them was generated by neural network. And then it was smartly integrated by means of deepfake and After Effects.
The beginning of the video is rendered in UE4. There is a switch to gameplay recording in Unity in the room after opening the door. Our hero starts from the mountain with a parachute, then he lands at the enemy area on the house. He finds himself in a bathroom, he takes a trophy weapon.
That's where the gameplay begins... No one can survive.
Totally Unity promotional video.
Timeline animation alternates with gameplay to bouncy transitions. Gameplay recording. Fake and semi-fake scenes were made on the timeline in Unity, except the scenes at 5th and 27th seconds.
At 12th second the teammate and the enemies are represented by men alive (collective recording).
