Inspired by the Volvo XC60 "Leave the world behind" film, I started creating a concept for the Volvo Design Contest in the Netherlands.
The contest's design brief is about making a product that accompanies the Volvo XC60 and moves the jury.
One of the biggest sources of inspiration is the Film "Leave the world behind". As this film makes sense to almost none of the world's inhabitants it creates a triggering factor: the XC60 is the required product to be able to live the way the guys in the film do.
