A small tree, with fireflies roaming around it, all enclosed with a glass protection, lying in the middle of a Desert, in a Dark night, represents an opinion of two different types of people in our society. Wondering how? The vast and empty Desert is the world, full of unexpected dangers (represented by the dark night), the glass sphere is the limit (or say control), the tree is the home, for those little fireflies (representing Girls of our society).

OPINION #1 -
Some people (generally elders with medieval mindset, mostly from rural areas) feel, girls aren't made for handling the pressure of outer world. So they just don't allow them to get out and experience things by themselves and hence they give them an unwilling protection as a gift (according to them). They generally justify themselves by saying that girls are "Ghar ki Shaan" (literally meaning "Pride of House") and putting them in their house with some limitations, glorifies them & that place more beautifully. If they'll not give them that protection (or say control over them), they'll loose their way and their glow and hence their Identity & Existence in the vast void of Desert in Dark and dangerous night.

OPINION #2 -
This type of people mostly have their opinions based on Freedom, Equality & Human rights. They believe that, instead of putting them in a fixed place with limitations on them, letting them go outside of that glass protection and exploring the vast world, simultaneously also experiencing those dangers, will only glorify them brighter than before, because they'll learn new things everyday. They also believe that they have the ability to turn that dark night into brightened up day, just by their enlightenment, they've ability to turn that lifeless desert into a life that is beautiful just like that tree and those fireflies combination. It's just that, they don't get the chance.
