Walmart introduced the Select Edition premium line of bed and bath soft goods in the fall of 2010. It was necessary for the packaging to convey the luxurious nature of the line, while keeping the development costs to a minimum to help accommodate the suppliers. The end result was a two-color design featuring a rich Pantone black and a metallic copper color. Subtle use of pattern and five-stars in the design reinforce the feeling that this is a top-tier product.
