Capstone Project - Eco Friendly Pencils (2022)
My Capstone Project focused on creating eco-friendly pencils that aligned with the SDG 12 and 13 goals of responsible consumption and production and climate change, respectively. The prototype of the pencils was made from recycled and reused newspaper, and they featured biodegradable capsules with seeds that could be planted after use. Through careful research and experimentation, I was able to develop a product that not only helped reduce waste but also contributed to reforestation efforts. My project demonstrated the potential of sustainable innovation and the importance of responsible production and consumption in promoting a greener future.
