People Problem
Students at Sheridan College are facing difficulties in speaking with their professors outside of class hours for assistance with assignments or lectures. The current situation has led to increased email communication, resulting in late replies or lengthy email conversations.
User Story
As a student I want to ask my professor questions about my assignment outside of class hours so that I can successfully complete my assignment.
Ideation & User flow
As a team we generated different ideas and sketches using Crazy 8 methodology.

We have narrowed our focus to the professor appointment path on the user flow map.

User Testing & Iterations
We used usertesting.com, 3 participants (postgraduate or undergraduate students) were contributed to validate the test.
What we want to learn
- Evaluate the usability, functionality and user experience of the app.
- Observations of participants using the app prototype
- To determine if the information is presented in an easily understandable manner.
- Collect quantitative data analysis to identify error rates and completion rates
Iterations after user testing
- In the “Meeting Details” screen, We added an input comment box to allow for personalization of meeting details in case any missing information from the boxes provided above.

- In the “My Schedule” screen, we replaced the trash can icon on the left with a text button to make it more straightforward for users to cancel a meeting. This change should provide more clarity and ease of use.
