Design Narrative

The designer has decided to create a specimen book that highlights Univers Next and its unique features and capabilities.

The first step in creating this specimen book was to go through the history of where univers next had been previously used and use that information to then create the design. 

After lots of research it was found out that Apple used to use univers next on there keyboards. From there it was carefully consider into the design elements that would complement the typeface. The design goal was to be simple and minimalist, with a focus on the typeface itself.  A neutral color palette of white, gray, and black were used in order to allow the typeface to stand out, and used clean lines and minimal graphics to create a sense of elegance and sophistication. Along with the design aspect of the typeface the specimen book was also influenced by the design of Apple.

Overall, the Univers Next typeface specimen book is a comprehensive guide to the typeface designed by Adrian Frutiger. This book is designed to showcase the versatility and beauty of Univers Next, while also providing information of about the designer.
