Mari Dein's profile

Abstract paintings in the interior of the salon.

I always wanted to work more with abstractions. A couple of years ago I discovered the technique of epoxy resin. Quite a few interesting works were created: they tried to fill canvases, MDF, plywood with epoxy; combined it with oil, ink, acrylic; even made a bar counter. Some of the works were bought in Yekaterinburg, some went to live in St. Petersburg, and one even went to Japan. But no matter how much work has been done, I want to continue: to look for something new, unusual.
These searches led me to other "fluid" techniques: liquid acrylic, alcohol ink. My 2018 began with experiments. All these techniques, in my opinion, bring perfect accents to the interior. Maybe this is fate, or maybe a coincidence, but at the beginning of the year, a friend planned to open an atelier of her author's furniture. The idea of a collaboration came up: to create a series of works in different techniques, using the colors of the furniture, to create something unique.
