Easy Light Chair
Easy Light Chair borns with the aim of realizing a minimum material consuming, yet strong chair that can also be easily CNC manufactured.
The chiar is cutted using a 3 axis CNC millling machine and then carefully refined and finished by hands.
To protect the wood, a finish of natural wax was given to surfaces.

By doing so all the marble-like vains of the okumè wood are enfatized giving a natural decoration to the object.
The plywood for legs, top and structural supports have different thickness depending on the loading forces(weight)they are subjected to when in use. Every component of the chair was designed to be as light as possible, cutting out all the unecessary material optimizing it to save production time for the cnc cutting. The result is a visually light object where all the structural elements are reduced to the bones.
The chair sitting top was designed to give it a floating-like appearence emphatizing the overall lightness also visually.
