Leeds Inspired is a one stop shop to find out what events are happening across the city. Run by Leeds City Council, the website lists thousands of events a year which include gigs, concerts, exhibitions, dance, performance, films and family events from both independent and established organisers.
Event organisers are able to upload their own event and image. However, with a new website in the works, Leeds Inspired needed their carefully curated event collection pages to stand out amongst the mismatched event images and to sign post the user.
A bank of playful header illustrations were created to give the event collection pages their own identity while creating a united look and feel across the website. The illustrations were also repurposed for Leeds Inspired to use in print adverts to show off the range of events happening in the city.
