I am a huge space nerd, so when Anthony approached me with this project I couldn't resist - to create something cinematic and epic for the National Reconnaissance Office.

 
I put together a small team, we sketched out satellites and worlds, gradually adding complexity and detail. To ensure everything felt seamless, we kept our drawings loose, allowing us to quickly rough out camera movements and timing. Once the foundation was there, everything else fell into place. 

Behind the Scenes & Clays
We created everything using C4D, Redshift, and After Effects.
The piece was then edited in Premiere.

We were obsessed with making sure everything here felt massive. Our computers however, not as thrilled with this idea.

We used a combination of both loose sketches and reference images to convey the direction. Then cleaning them up as we locked in the edit.
