print identity in response to the 2014 Royal Society of Art brief Everyday Well-being
 
 
A quarterly published independent, low-budget publication of 28 colour pages called The Bread Magazine focusing on a healthier lifestyle; consisting essays, articles, interview, recipes, illustrations and photography. Each issue is to explore a certain type of corn, with presenting always innovative and thought-provoking sources.
 
Improving someone’s everyday life seems a daunting task. We are living in a fast and bustling culture of mass-media and mass-production. By the means of the internet we got accustomed to responses that grow in one blink of an eye. Life is short, yet we must earn the living of our own. Survival is a great instinct that can accumulate life-changing factors when we are at the edge of darkness. In spite of the mechanised and digitalised world of our own, the culture of bread-making is flourishing. The answer lies beneath its tactile and social features that the process of bread-making carries. It does cheer people up. I know, I felt it. If not only that, anything that has this hands-on characteristics we are drawn to it, because we are human.
