What do the audience expect to see in the work of a native Petersburger? The floods of the Neva, the vaults of cathedrals, the greatness of Peter the Great, significant milestones in the history of the city, drawbridges - these are the plots that are often made to order for city events.
However, today I was lucky to tell you my personal story and I want to invite you for a walk along the sleeping streets of my inner perception of my native city.

are connected with one place - the Peterhof road, whose formerly majestic architectural ensembles are shrouded
harsh, industrial concrete boxes.
However, today I was lucky to tell you my personal story and I want to invite you for a walk along the sleeping streets of my inner perception of my native city.

My Small Motherland is the south-west of St. Petersburg, here I was born and raised, here I was scared, and fun, and to tears joyful, and difficult, and really good, that's why this place is so dear to my heart.
I invite you to plunge into a dream that I see in reality every day.
At the preparatory stage, I conducted an empirical study, the focus group of which was residents of the district aged 7 to 55 years. As a result, places, objects and sensations were identified, thanks to which a complete picture of the true perception of my Small Motherland is formed.
My goal was not just to work with the facade of the building, but also to create my own world inside each scene with exaggerated and recognizable images.

SLEEPING
In the beginning, we place the viewer in the suggested circumstances of the 3D mapping. Each of our dreams begins with abstract pictures, spots and light overflows - this is a side effect of the work of the brain, which recognizes the colors and brightness of points in the visual field.
We tell the viewer that the building is plastic and that its shape can change. We make you immerse yourself and believe in the upcoming story, due to the form, texture, play of geometry, light and shadow.

THE CITY FALLSLEEP - PANELS WAKE UP
The facade of the building takes on the appearance of a construction site. The viewer sees beams, changing floors, various industrial elements, which are emphasized by the play of light. All this creates the effect of endless construction, so familiar to residents of the sleeping areas of St. Petersburg.
Inside the facade, a new world appears - a typical panel city (the main character of the scene).
Most of the architecture of the “South-West” is typical multi-apartment “house-ships” (series 1LG-600).
The concrete city comes to life, breathes, transforms.
The facade of the building takes on the appearance of a construction site. The viewer sees beams, changing floors, various industrial elements, which are emphasized by the play of light. METRO STATION “AVTOVO”
The previous scene rises, and the viewer descends underground straight into the lobby of the most beautiful metro station in St. Petersburg, entering a new world.
On an enlarged scale, the dominant feature of the composition is a gilded chandelier with crystal shades. The main characters of the scene are flying around it - trains (Ezh-type cars), so familiar to all Petersburgers. Tunnels and columns help to feel the depth of the scene.
This scene was created with special realism, embodied in the details: the inscriptions of Avtovo, Metropolitan, stairs, patterns on chandeliers, different types of columns, which are emphasized by the play of light and shadow.

POWER LINES. SOURCE OF ENERGY
In this scene, the viewer enters the box, which lives its own life.
The center of the composition is an energy ball placed in an astrolabe, which, through power lines, allows the gears to move and maintain the life of the world of the box. Lightning emanates from it, spectacularly illuminating the scene with bright flashes. Similarly, in the real world, power lines permeate the entire Southwest, and feed the areas around.
In this scene, the viewer enters the box, which lives its own life.

BEAUTIFUL AND TERRIBLE
During the Great Patriotic War, the Peterhof road became the site of fierce hostilities, as a result of which many manor buildings were completely destroyed. After the war, only a small part of them was restored.

The facade of the building, like palaces along the Peterhof road, acquires a noble patina, is overgrown with green grass and highlighted in green.
The wall disappears, and the viewer sees the world, which personifies parks, ponds and estates, which are an integral part of my Small Motherland.
The building is overgrown with mushrooms, dilapidated. Moss and cobwebs appear. The pond dries up. The light changes to backlight, acquires disturbing red hues, the viewer experiences suspense.
The apogee of this scene is a character (spider), frightening the viewer with its scale and unexpected appearance. The light turns scarlet. The glow from foliage and a completely overgrown building disappears.
The spider jumps at the viewer, symbolizing the prejudices about the danger of living far from the center of St.Petersburg.
