When this home page loads, the polaroids are displayed toward the top of the page. As soon as the page is finished loading, I use a jquery plugin named raphael. Raphael allows vector graphics to be drawn on the screen dynamically. Once the yellow animation is finished the polaroids scroll to the bottom of the screen and serve as the navigation menu. On-mouse-hover the polaroids slightly tilt to an upward position and on-click scroll to the proper portion of the page. All the menu properties are implemented using jquery.
Once a polaroid is clicked, the page scrolls to the proper portion of the page. Here there is a photo link, more information and a link that scrolls back to the top of the page.
