The purpose of this re-design is to turn a plastic-heavy earbud package into an eco-friendly one.

Inspired by Sony's branding the pattern aims to preserve a contemporary and eco-friendly look.

Callouts are based on lyrics from Are You Ready? by AC/DC, a song about having a good time.
Challenge
The main obstacle was determining which aspects of the earbud package could realistically be more ecological.
The alternative had to adhere to the original packaging for storage and branding.

Process
Sony earbuds are affordable for their customers who are generally younger.
Thumbs
The form sought to nod to an earbud shape. Ideally, this would also encourage customers to keep the package for storage.
Roughs
Card stock was the final choice since it was affordable, accessible for prototyping, and easy to manipulate.
