Ngassal [na-sal-lu] is a millet distillery founded by a group of Tayans, one of the Taiwanese aborigines. Millet liquor is precious for the Tayans because of its complex distill process. It is served in occasions that gather all Tayans such as festivals, weddings, and hunting.

From the Tayan, Ngassal means family and home. Just like its meaning, Ngassal delivers a light sweetness and warmth to you and your guest.
Tayal [tai-ya] is second-largest tribal group in Taiwanese aborgines. Located in the Central Mountain and has thousand years of history. The Tribe is a fairly advanced culture. They originally lived by fishing, hunting, gathering, and growing crops on burned-off mountain fields. They practice craft based on the source from their living environment, which is usually full of bamboo.
Tayans are known for their weaving skill. Diamond shape, roziq [ro-zik], symbolizes the protection from the eye of the ancestor’s spirit and is commonly used in their textile pattern.
The pattern is perforated in order to keep the pattern on the bottle after opened.
