AirBus App
The brief was to create a App for Airbus that would be placed in all of their global office reception areas around the world. The App would be on a big windows tablet free to use and browse while in the Airbus reception area. They wanted a strong engaging home screen that would be eye catching and the rest to be simple and easy to use and navigate throughout. I had to constrain to the guild lines heavily so creating something a bit different then normal was a tough challenge. I started with the home screen I really wanted it to stand out; I used the Airbus ‘A’ as a centrepiece and designed around it using their thin and thick lines. I then placed filler images and text within the sections I had created from the shape of the ‘A’ this gave a really nice effect and what I feel as a eye catching home screen that breaks away from the normal corporate look. I then kept the rest of the screen quite simple using the Airbus colours for different sections and keeping the layout easy to navigate through and back.
