Workshop:
Instead of executing a design in print that is well though out beforehand on the computer, the aim of this workshop is to blend individual images/ typography/ patterns. We’ll be creating unexpected results by 'directed chance'. You will discover the tactile possibilities of mixing positive and negative layers with overlapping transparent and opaque inks.
We will work in teams, printing layer upon layer. It’s about collaboration and improvisation, responding to what happens while working, recognising results that have that serendipitous quality. End of the week we’ll divide prints, which should give you plenty of new ideas for future projects.
Dit was een workshop waarbij ik tijdens kiezen van een workshop meteen enthousiast was. En ik wilde al een tijdje nieuwe technieken leren in de werkplaatsen, en zeefdrukken was daar een van.
