Grays Interim Show & Batsford Prize 2023 'At Peace' V1
Using the Inktober Prompts limited colour palettes and the 'At Peace' prompt given by the Batsford Prize 2023, the aim here was to create initial concepts for a Pirate themed story within the 18th century. Ultimately the four initial images were applied towards the Grays Interim show 2023 submission which focused on showing a little old lady 'At Peace' after her adventures were over.
From left to right on the left side the styles experimented with are graphics, pixel art, lino printing and paper cut outs. The right side is the final interim show piece combining all the style experiments with a peaceful old lay reminiscing of the past.
