This introduction isn’t just another example of how a creative execution solves the client’s requirements. The following text is more of an anecdote about the things that drive us in the studio.

Our city, Medellín, recognized all over the world for its bloody past during the 80’s and 90’s is now an example of evolution and here is where the story happens. Barrio Antioquia, or "El Barrio" as most people know it, is a central location in the city, stigmatized by many as a “drug dealing neighborhood”, ignoring its cultural and human richness. There, amidst the sounds of motorcycles, whistles, claps, and laughter, the "Torneo del Barrio," an outdoor Five-a-side soccer championship, is played. Every night, teams from all over the city come together to play what Kevin, the organizer, calls “The greatest magic show in the city". We can confirm Kevin’s affirmation: what we’ve seen in the field is out of this world.

Each player leaves everything on the field with the goal of making their team win, but it actually feels more as if they wanted to make everyone shout and applaud, like a magician after a good trick.

Our friends at FUTTO are responsible for streaming the tournament on twitch and bringing the spectacle to people all around the world.

The passion for the game, and Kevin's desire to change all preconceptions related to “El Barrio” hooked us from the very beginning and inspired us to contribute from what we do best —brand identity— . In return, we only want many people to read this so they can get to know “El Torneo del Barrio” in a proper way.

Money is important, but passion is a life changer.
