Metamorphosis
In Fairycore sensibilities, Metamorphosis tells a coming-of-age story. Drawing parallels from the life cycle of butterflies, it is reminiscent of the angst of adolescence and the passing of time. It describes the whimsical journey of The Girl in the Garden who matures and eventually fled the garden. Deriving from the sustainable ideologies of the fairycore subculture, a cotton-white thrifted skirt remains constant throughout the three looks. The intricate textures of crochet, the juxtaposition of translucent and opaque and dainty pearls & gemstones all collaborate to form the intriguing world of Metamorphosis.
