Rektún Mat - Typeface Exploration

Fäviken is a restaurant located in a remote area in Sweden ran by head chef, Magnus Nilsson. This book was inspired by his innovative approach on creating a system where the restaurant has enough ingredients to last through out the year. The book is separated by ingredients such as meat, vegetables and dairy products. Rather than presenting the dish he creates, the book reveals the process and philosophy on how to treat ingredients in the right way. The title of this book, Rektún Mat, is a term Magnus Nilsson refers in Swedish as real food.
Only one typeface was used through out the whole project.
