Design: Faux covers

Russell and I wrote a screenplay called "Stonehenge" a long time ago. This is what I'd imagine a cover for a book to look like if it were written now.
Russell and I wrote a screenplay called "Stonehenge" a long time ago and this is an imagined sequel. We've never actually written it.
An old-school style sci-fi. I was thinking Vonnegut style. I like how the word "not" is on the back cover instead of the front. I'd almost think that this would work better without any summary information on the back at all, let the word "not" take care of it all. The book does not exist and Tim has never expressed in interest in writing such a story.
This is actually one of my favorite covers I've designed. The author exists but he's never written this story nor ever expressed plans to do so.
One thing I've been studying is ways to make the physical medium of a book connect more with the text. Finnegans Wake provided the perfect opportunity for this due to its circular style. The text literally starts on the spine, goes to the front cover, goes through the books contents, ends on the back cover before repeating again on the spine. I think Joyce would have been proud of this.
A cover for a story I started about six years ago but abandoned.
I wanted to combine a mass-market chick-lit concept with horror. Neither the book nor the author exists.
The second part of my experiment combining chick-lit and horror. Neither the book nor the author exist.
A great stock photo turned into a cover I'm very pleased with. I like the disconnect between the mask and the title which I'm assuming would make perfect beautiful sense if you read the story. Neither the book nor the author exist.
No real point to this cover, I just saw the stock photo and was wondering what I could do with it. Neither the author nor the book exists.
The first in several mythological horror covers I designed just for practice. I was wanting to study the horror genre and combine it with Irish mythology with the mass-market. Neither the book nor the author exists.
The second part in my experiment with Irish mythology in a modern context. Neither the book nor the author exist.
More in my experimental mythos-horror series. Neither book nor author exist.
More in the series. Neither book nor author exist.
