We teamed up with female duo PROWL Studio and M4 Factory in California to design the animations and visuals to promote PEEL – a biodegradable sustainable chair made entirely from hemp.
Our primary objective was to visually convey the different components and materials necessary for the entire manufacturing process. We incorporated detailed close-up shots of the hemp fibres, and the injection moulding machinery to demonstrate the intricate nature of the production phases.
Our use of mechanical camera movements allowed us to effectively convey the engineering process involved in the creation of the PEEL chair. Additionally, we utilised colour grading and lighting to create a visually striking contrast between the industrial laboratory setting and the natural hemp material.
