No brief. No comment. No deadline. I created this series of surrealistic creatures for myself from dreams, mixed with various whims that popped up through the process.
The initial inspiration sprang out of thinking about the sculpting process. From there, I allowed it to evolve and develop freely without preconceived direction. Themes of cause and effect and both organic and inorganic machines began to develop. The main source of inspiration is Salvador Dali and Renaissance sculptures. However, many may notice something similar to the gothic Simpsons, and they will also be right.
Imagine that each of the characters is the hero of a non-existent fantasy story, each hero has his own line of fate, his own hobbies and goals. One is a mad scientist, another is an eternal warrior, another is a fat and lazy preacher. And of course, no fairy tale can do without beautiful princesses and queens
