PESPORT — SPORT E-COMMERCE REDESIGN



BACKGROUND
Pesport company is a Polish seller of sports products for beginners and intermediate people.
We were asked to prepare a comprehensive audit of the online store and the brand. Our goal was to prepare a comprehensive analysis, which was then discussed and extended to the Product and Brand Workshops at our company’s headquarters together with domain experts on the client’s side.

We redefined the brand name and gave it the identity of PE + SPORT = physical education, and proposed to build communication with the body in a positive way, rather than in an artificial way, as is often the case in the industry. The goal was to maintain the current target audience and to present a brand accessible to any active beginner. By the way, jump to a higher level in the visual aspect, which will contribute to greater confidence.




PROCESS
Deliverables of the e-commerce product design and rebranding  are based on the design thinking methodology. We started with the Empathization phase through the analysis of quantitative, demographic, and behavioural data and the conducted audit. Then, during the workshop, we moved on to the definition phase: personas, an empathy map, and a value proposition canvas.

The next step was the design and rebranding part and the tools used, i.e. moodboarding, wireframing and lo-fi prototyping, and finally Product Design with Rebranding.




UX AUDIT & PRODUCT WORKSHOPS
We conducted successful Product Workshop with various exercises like creating Personas, Value Proposition Canvas, and Event Storming to develop a deep understanding of our customers and their needs. These exercises helped us to identify new opportunities for our product and improve its overall value proposition.




WIREFRAMING
As part of our e-commerce product development process, we have designed wireframes that focus on customer journeys, marketing funnels, and engaged content. These wireframes provide a clear visualization of the customer experience and help us to optimize each step of the funnel. By incorporating engaging content, we wanted 
to increase customer engagement and ultimately drive more conversions.



SOLUTION
Due to the overall branding changes, we also decided to change the logotype. We did not want to apply a new broomstick effect and kept the same signet motif for the letter P but with a modified shape. We worked on a new typography, color enhancement and a steadily placed letter P.



PRODUCT DESIGN
Comprehensive scope of product design service allowed us to provide dedicated views for Web and Mobile devices based on a responsive web design strategy. This is important from a business point of view because it ensures a seamless user experience across all devices, which can increase customer engagement and ultimately drive more conversions.




DEDICATED ICON SET
As part of our product design process, we designed a dedicated set of linear and geometric icons for sports activities. These icons help to provide a clear and consistent visual language for our customers, enhancing their experience with our product.




BRANDBOOK & DESIGN SYSTEM
We understand the importance of a strong brand and user interface. That’s why we’ve developed comprehensive brand and design guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Brandbook and design system help us create a cohesive user and brand experience that fosters trust and loyalty with the customers and also has measurable profits related to the time and cost of development and product development.
