Harvest Festival or in the local language is Tadau Kaamatan or in the Kadazan language is “Magavau”

is a special celebration in honor of “Bambazon” the spirit of rice. This festival is a traditional practice

of the Kadazan-Dusun tribe since time immemorial. Festival “Magavau” is usually held after the completion

of harvest.
