L'Eroica is a global movement that celebrates vintage cycling. It started in 1997 in a small village in Italy and now takes place in many countries around the world. Participants ride on vintage bikes and wear clothing from the same era. The event takes place on the first Sunday of October and includes challenging routes with stops for refreshments.
The main goal was to create an illustration that simultaneously enhances vintage cycling, the friendly and intimate atmosphere of the Ciclo Club Events and the main landscape elements of the Rheingau region.
With the help of inspiration from the vintage atmosphere at the event, the locations and landscapes, the attitude of the participants I managed to create the simplistic yet vibrant design of the poster.
