ÁLLA

How do you distill a grand narrative into a word mark? ÁLLA is a small sustainable fashion studio who enjoys a unique approach to design and making. Her practice has evolved during her studies in Belarus, Ireland and Denmark. Her garments mix material exploration and intuitive making.

The ÁLLA word mark has been designed to reflect the attitude and stance of a fashion model. The hip of the Á perfectly echoes the form of the model. The accent above the Á was explicitly design to mirror Álla’s custom felt shoe design. The double LL’s help close any negative space. The result is a clear mark with concept and attitude.
