Development of a corporate identity for the French cream "Violet"
Moisturizing day cream with an extract of such a beautiful flower as violet. Turette-sur-Lux is the only place in France where the cultivation of violets is one of the main forms of employment. Since 1880, agricultural activity in the village has been centered around this flower. At the end of the 19th century, the cultivation of violets was spread in places located around the capital of perfumery Grasse. The cream has a unique technology due to which microscopic violet petals remain in the texture and a delicate purple color remains that adapts to the skin.
The logo is based on a light serif font that associates the softness and tenderness of the product. Used the outline of a violet petal and its small part instead of a title. Two colors are allowed in the original version of the logo. The security field is formed using the letter "e" in the logo
Three colors are used in this project: blue-violet, aquamarine and pink. The first two are quite deep and bright, their gradient creates a bright note in the product. The third color emphasizes the tenderness and lightness of the product. All colors have a different purpose in design. The Ingravity font for the logo is feminine, light with an interesting style. In combination with other elements of the logo, it creates a spring, warm mood. Montserat is a classic typeface for body text, light, unobtrusive, pleasant to read.
The main task was to make minimalism with a bright touch. For this, a light sketch of a violet flower and gradient shapes from corporate colors were drawn, which were located behind the outlines of a violet.
Here is a sketch on a bright background. Behind the circles - microparticles or molecules prevailing in this product. The design combines softness, tenderness, but at the same time brightness and confidence of the product. Microparticles can be arranged in a different order, increase the number and size, thereby making the illustration more interesting
