A pop art maximalist project. Many said; "Less is more" while style icon Iris Apfel, said; "More is more". This is a project of more and more, layered, bold and saturated. It's a cultivation project.
Imaginative, surreal colorful woman enhancing qualities of strong and beautiful woman I have met through my journey in life. The strength and wisdom I have seen in them, together with what was in their reach and what was out of reach, is profound and beyond limitless.
Motivated by a deep underlying love for people and to learn their wisdom and too see the beauty in different and diverse cultures. So many woman I have met, very humble and yet, so strong. Most not seen by many, but their wisdom and strength in life has been profound. Their life stories have been unique, intriguing and many times impossible to tell. I wish everyone could hear them, I wish everyone could see their beauty and their strength. Yet, I did. I feel so thankful.
To have empathy, imagination is needed. Imagination to put oneself in 'another's shoe'. Imagination is cultivated. This is a cultivation project. Traveling in Africa for more than a decade, always trying to understand and to learn, with the aim to connect with others on a deeper level. A strong desire to connect and understand people I met during my journey in life so I can learn more, to be wiser and more humble. I have seen differences and similarities. They are all beautiful to me and they are changing me, I feel I am melting together with them. Together we are one and we are many.
