Papeleira | Litter Bin
design Pedro Martins Pereira, Larus

Thanks to the bend in the front and back steel sheet, this litter bin is reminiscent of a folded sheet of paper. This design is intended to convey an impression of lightness and to create a symbolic and emotional approach in order to reduce the usual aversion people have of litter bins. Rubbish collection takes place with
the aid of a plastic sack that is fixed inside a steel frame. The container has a capacity of 70 litres and consists of coated steel sheet. It is installed with the help of threaded bolts that are screwed directly into the ground.
