Ramadan Kareem is a month-long Islamic holiday observed by Muslims around the world. It is a time for spiritual reflection, self-improvement, and increased devotion and worship. Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, abstaining from food, drink, and other physical needs, as a way to demonstrate their submission to Allah and their gratitude for His blessings. In addition to fasting, Muslims also engage in increased prayer, recitation of the Quran, and acts of charity during Ramadan. The end of Ramadan is celebrated with the festival of
Eid al-Fitr, which is marked by special prayers, family gatherings, and feasting.
