I was invited by VMLY&R agency to photograph a new campaign for Controlauto, a car inspection center in Portugal.
A challenge, in 8 hours of session that turned into 11 hours for a goal 25 final photographs, 18 excessive scenarios, 6 “models”, 8 wonderful extras friends, 2 assistants, production / catering, make-up & hair, a vast team for a long and long day of session. It all boiled down to abnormal speed, lots of opinions, some changes, mistakes and a lot of essential help to overcome adversity.
In the end the result was a new campaign for Controlauto, based on honesty, without being too photographically false, true in the purity of the smile of those who really work in that environment and serve the public daily with a genuine good dose of sympathy.
